Tuna Casserole

I don’t think I’ve posted how I make tuna casserole. It’s a “midwest” version. Added, every time I even think of tuna casserole, I immediately go to this scene in the movie Analyze This with Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal. IF you haven’t seen it, please put it on your list. It’s damn funny,.

Tuna Casserole

2 cans of tuna -I use Costco albacore tuna

Frozen peas– I eyeball the amount and use Trader Joes’s frozen organic peas

2 Stalks of celery chopped fairly small sautéed in a bit of water

I package of mushrooms sliced. – I sautéed them in a pan with no oil or water

2 cans condensed mushroom soup with 1/2 can of milk-I used organic mushroom soup and I can of GMO (damn it) Campells soup mushroom soup

1/2 package of wide egg noodles from Target cooked

Only seasoning is pepper, but maybe you want to be more creative.

Stir all that togeher and heat in oven until hot. I usually bake at 350 degrees as using my old electric oven that heats up faster than a hot summer day sitting on the freeway in LA with no more EPA regulations.

Dinner is served!
